Give Warning to IE6 browser Visitors

Well, as you guys know, IE6 count down is start and it better should be, it is security vulnerable and supports less web standards and techs. So it should be now kick out but even nowadays, majority has IE6 on their PC. As awareness is increasing, IE6 worldwide usage rate is decline. We as a web developer can increase its decline rate so that we can also introduce new web standards in to our web world.
Windows XP support up to Internet Explorer 8. That`s a decent browser as compared to IE6 and has nice features as well. So Microsoft also offered one banner code, which if you put in your site banner, it will display warning if visitor visit site with IE6.

Put this code in to BODY content of your browser.

This sweet warning will appear, it has decent colours and very streamline appearance.


I think you guys will also support this cause and introduce in your web developments project so that you can also use new techs in web world without worrying..

I still don't understand why people use IE6, there are such great browsers available for use like Firefox and chrome. I have supported the cause till from my first site and its already implemented in YP.

Well, I was sharing for other developer as well. That`s why I posted. Personally I like SevenUp JAVA script for this purpose, very good looking warning box.

even though I use chrome for browsing and Firefox for developing purpose, I'll give maxthon browser a try and let you know how it is.
